A new trailer has arrived for Tully, the upcoming dramedy that reunites Charlize Theron with Young Adult director Jason Reitman.
Written by Diablo Cody (Juno, Jennifer’s Body), Tully follows Marlo (Theron) a mother of three struggling to juggle her demanding, exhausting responsibilities. Her brother (Mark Duplass) hires her a night nanny, Tully (Mackenzie Davis), to help. While Marlo is hesitant at first, she soon comes to form a unique bond with this young woman.
Reitman arguably hasn’t had a sure win since Young Adult, which was back in 2011. The Juno and Up in the Air helmer could certainly be back on track with this one though. It looks quite good, with Theron putting in what appears to be a very strong performance. Early reviews are very positive as well.
Tully, also starring Ron Livingston, will be hitting U.S. cinemas on April 20 and arrives in Australia on May 10.
