‘Stranger Things’ Season 2 Clip Has Eleven Escaping the Upside Down

Netflix

One element of what made Stranger Things‘ first season so great was the character of Eleven, played so brilliantly by the talented Millie Bobby Brown.

Many were understandably a little worried when Eleven disappeared during the season one finale, but hope came in one simple scene: Hopper leaving Eggo waffles, Eleven’s favourite, in the woods.

We now know Eleven will indeed be back, but, of course, there are plenty of questions left unanswered. What’s Eleven been up to since coming back (since her hair is significantly longer in the final trailer)? How has she survived? How did she even manage to return? An answer for the latter seems to have arrived. Take a look at the clip below, showing Eleven making her way back into our world via an inter-dimensional hole in the wall.

The intrigue is real for the second season of this thus-far outstanding series. We’ll find out if creators Matt and Ross Duffer have another winning chapter in store when Stranger Things season 2 hits Netflix on October 27.

Synopsis for Stranger Things season 2:

It’s 1984 and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana are still reeling from the horrors of the Demogorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab. Will Byers has been rescued from the Upside Down but a bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived.
