New ‘Justice League’ Trailer is Epic

Warner Bros.

Warner Bros. has dropped a big new trailer for the highly anticipated DC superhero team-up movie that is Justice League.

Batman (Ben Affleck) gathers Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), The Flash (Ezra Miller) and Cyborg (Ray Fisher) to take on a dark new enemy in this long-hyped DCU picture. From the various production woes, which includes Man of Steel and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder stepping aside due to a personal tragedy and Avengers helmer Joss Whedon stepping in for reshoots and post-production, this project has long had an unenviable spotlight on it for every turn.

Well, say what you will about the previous DCU entries – although Wonder Woman has enjoyed wide acclaim – and the film’s road to fruition; it’s looking pretty great so far. The new trailer shows off a good amount of exiting new footage – with added Clark Kent/Superman! The visuals look fantastic, the action looks insane, and the camaraderie between our heroes appears fun. It feels like we’ve been waiting forever for Justice League to arrive. Fingers crossed WB’s DC universe follows up WW‘s success with another winner.

Justice League, also starring J.K. Simmons, Amy Adams, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane and Amber Heard, among others, will arrive in Australia cinemas on November 16 and opens in US cinemas on November 17.

Synopsis for Justice League:

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
