A new trailer has dropped for the upcoming live-action adaptation of Fullmetal Alchemist, set to hit Japanese cinemas on December 1st.
Based on the manga series by Hiromu Arakawa, Fullmetal Alchemist tells of two brothers who, after attempting the forbidden technique of human transmutation, suffer the dire consequences. They embark on a journey to track down the legendary philosopher’s stone, which has the power to repair their bodies.
The – much better – new trailer provides a good look at the upcoming film and includes snippets of the villains, including Gluttony (Shinji Uchiyama), Lust (Yasuko Matsuyuki) and Envy (Kanata Hongō). The manga and both of the anime series are brilliant and hold strong, loyal fanbases; hopefully this adaptation delivers.
