A new behind the scenes featurette has been released for the film, one celebrating the family aspect of the long journey the cast have experienced since it all kicked off in 2008. Yeah, somehow it’s been ten years already.
“This has literally been the adventure of a lifetime,” says Robert Downey Jr. “I get a little bit misty thinking about it.”
It’s a fun and sweet little marketing piece, featuring a number of our favourite cast members discussing the experience and what it’s been like to work with their co-stars. “I wanted to work with [Chris] Pratt, because I thought he would be fun. Completely wrong on that front; he was arduous, and boring, and not particularly funny,” jokes Benedict Cumberbatch.
After many years journeying with a number of these characters in different areas of the MCU, part of the excitement of Infinity War is in seeing a lot of them finally united. Case in point at the beginning of the featurette: the Guardians meeting Thor, who Drax quickly becomes a fan of. Enjoy.
Counting the sleeps: Avengers: Infinity War arrives in Australia on April 25 and opens in the U.S. on April 27.
