Disney has unveiled a big new trailer for A Wrinkle in Time, the upcoming adventure directed by Ava DuVernay (Selma).

Based on the classic novel by Madeleine L’Engle, A Wrinkle in Time tells of a girl’s (Storm Reid) journey through space and time to uncover the truth of her father’s (Chris Pine) disappearance. Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon and Mindy Kaling play three celestial guides that help the girl on her transformative journey.

The visuals look wonderful in this intriguing fantasy picture, which comes with a screenplay by Frozen Oscar winner Jennifer Lee. There’s also a very strong cast; apart from Winfrey, Witherspoon, Kaling and Pine, the film stars Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Michael Peňa and young Aussie star Levi Miller, the latter of whom recently starred in Better Watch Out and Jasper Jones.

The film will open in the US on March 9 and will arrive in Australia on March 22.

Take a look at the new trailer below.
